Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator
Job Description
This position will focus on recruiting, training, and retaining a robust network of volunteers who will lead activities including, but not limited to: yoga, music events, kickboxing, book clubs, and socials. The ideal candidate will have experience with volunteer-run programming, a knack for strategic problem-solving, and will be comfortable with building strong relationships throughout the community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a strong volunteer program including recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers
- Utilize various technology platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms
- Strategically grow our robust sober active community throughout the Tampa Bay area while working closely with the local team
- Collaborate with the regional volunteer engagement team to implement volunteer best practices
- Commute semi-regularly for events with approximately 40% of time spent on the ground in the community
- Travel to semi-regular volunteer trainings along with periodic regional staff trainings
- Work evening and weekend hours as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience or exposure to volunteer-led programming, volunteer coordinating, or other related fields.
- Organizational and time management skills, as well as adaptability
- Strong networking skills
- Comfortable with assessing talent and having coaching conversations where needed
- A self-starter mindset, humility, and integrity
- Proficiency with technology
- Reliable transportation for commuting around the Tampa Bay area
PREFERENCES

SALARY AND BENEFITS
- $50,000 – $54,000 annually
- 403(b) retirement plan with 4% match
