Customer satisfaction and teamwork are two of our core values. In this role you’ll play an important part in helping ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high quality customer service to our benefit plan participants and their beneficiaries at a difficult time in their lives. You’ll work with your other members of the Survivor Benefits team as well as other members of the Customer Service department or other areas of Wespath to ensure these customers receive their benefits when they need them most.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Has a passion for serving customers.
  • Professional writing skills. Is able to prepare a business letter or email with appropriate punctuation and clarity.
  • Able to perform basic math functions for calculation of premiums, billing reconciliation, audits and resolution of contributions/distributions.
  • Ability to understand and interpret multiple plans documents, policies, procedures, legal requirements, and retirement plan concepts.

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study (ex: math, business, human resources)
  • Benefit administration experience specifically with defined benefit, defined contribution or health benefits
