We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Full-Stack Developer to join our Issuer Services Engineering team. The role is located in Manchester (hybrid).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Ability to synthesize business, functional requirements, and design solution.
  • Strong Analytical Skills, able to comprehend and dissect a problem.
  • Strong architecture and design of new applications
  • Must have strong deductive reasoning & diagnostic problem-solving skills.
  • Like to take ownership of a feature from the original idea through to live – commercially oriented.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, willing to go outside of comfort zone and learn new things.
  • Think like the rest of Issuer Services Engineering that a small number of empowered developers working in an Agile PODs with the business and clients is the right way to deliver software.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Extensive experience in micro services development using Java, Spring Boot REST, Spring security, JPA, Spring Cloud Discovery/Routing
  • Extensive experience in micro frontends using Single SPA, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS, NodeJS
  • Experience in front end testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma
  • Experience with Test Drive Development (TDD)/Behavior Driven Development (BDD) for both front end and back-end code.
  • Experience with relational databases relational (Oracle)
  • Believe in clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing and continuous deployment – loving Open-Source projects a plus!
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with Scrum framework.
  • Experience with GIT and Knowledge in release engineering, configuration management, software development or related discipline.
  • Good Experience on CI/CD pipeline setup and end to end automation for build, test, and deployment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (based on a BS or MS in CS, or equivalent experience)
