Full-Time Learning and Organizational Development Manager (Hybrid-remote)

As the national Learning and Organizational Development Manager, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on supporting our people to thrive at work.  What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a key advisor/consultant to leaders and teams on organizational development issues and interventions including change initiatives, team building/facilitation, culture enhancement and workplace experience engagement
  • Take ownership of leadership development programming and delivery for our new and emerging leaders
  • Design and deliver relevant learning and development opportunities to further build on our culture
  • Support and facilitate the design and implementation of our Internal Talent Mobility Program
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives designed to strengthen organization and individual competencies and management development
  • Provide consulting services to management in designing and implementing change processes that engage stakeholders from initiation to implementation of the change. This includes use of instruments and surveys to analyze individual and group behaviors
  • Promote an innovative service-excellence and inclusive approach in the training and Organizational Development services provided to stakeholders
  • Support the People and Culture strategy by implementing Organizational Development programs including leadership development, talent management, and workplace employee engagement including end-to-end employee experience initiatives
  • Provide services to leaders in a way that increases their capacity for coaching, facilitation, and team development within their own teams
  • Evaluate organization development/people development services ensuring interventions meet client satisfaction
  • Remain current in the practice of organizational and leadership development by ongoing professional development, and implement best practice in alignment with the future needs of the organization

 What we’re looking for:   

  • Passion for our organization’s mission and alignment with our values
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills based on emotional intelligence, empathy, and curiosity, with a business and strong team orientation
  • 5+ years’ combined experience developing and facilitating leadership development programs and staff learning sessions in a complex, multi-site national organization and developing/implementing OD initiatives from a consultative framework
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and enhance diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or other relevant discipline required
  • Coaching certification is definitely an asset
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Leadership, Education or other equivalent discipline an asset
  • Clear understanding of Talent Mobility programs
  • Experience developing e-learning training courses and content
  • Excellent knowledge and application of change management and project management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conflict management
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles, participative learning design, group dynamics, interactive learning, effective collaboration and communication skills and conflict resolution
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen including problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration across multiple functions and departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; French skills are an asset
  • Effective in a fast-paced, changing, service-centric environment
