Agile Delivery Manager (Digital Agency)
Location: Holborn, London (remote but required in the office twice a month)

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to spearhead the successful delivery of an ambitious new consumer-facing app on behalf of our client. This role is integral to coordinating the efforts of a cross-functional product team that includes iOS, Android and web engineers, back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers.
The Agile Delivery Manager will ensure the seamless execution and timely delivery of the product, utilising Agile Scrum methodologies.
You will be the main point of contact for all things delivery across specific capabilities. You’ll ensure all requirements have been carefully considered and prioritised, risks have been documented with clear mitigation and there is an outstanding level of clear clarification within our shared JIRA boards.
You will demonstrate control to clients and internal stakeholders through overall project oversight, effectively managing the throughput of work in a timely fashion to meet release plans and client deadlines.
You will be a trusted and respected partner to our client. From scoping and ideation through the project lifecycle. You will add value by continuing to problem solve and demonstrating a strong grasp of production processes to deliver against client values. You will be able to identify opportunities within client business challenges and clearly articulate potential solutions or approaches to support them in their ambition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the project
  • Collaborate closely with the client-side Product Owner to align on product vision, roadmap, backlog, and release planning.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile practices and principles to foster high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Track project performance and provide status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Manage inter team and client dependencies and ensure they are met in a timely manner.
  • Manage risks and issues, actively identifying and implementing mitigating actions.
  • Coordinate resources and manage third-party vendors and partners to ensure the flawless execution of the project.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and innovation within the team.
  • Balance governance, flexibility, and the management of change to ensure the project meets its objectives.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that the product meets quality standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Minimum five years of experience in managing complex software development projects in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with native mobile application development (iOS and Android) and SaaS integration
  • Strong technical skills, experience delivering products with complex backend architecture, APIs and microservices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role
  • Knowledge of web technologies and front-end development
