Job Description

This is an exciting and dynamic new role, and the successful candidate will have the chance to be a part of the setup of this innovative specialist service to prevent admissions to hospital. Working in close collaboration with our well established Children’s and Young Peoples Eating Disorder Service.  We have a diverse multidisciplinary team. and have close working relationships with other teams such as Paediatrics.

We also have good links with the Regional Collaborative for CAMHS ED teams and are playing a part in shaping the ongoing training for teams in the North of England. The team has a strong interest in developing its research profile and would support the development of research interests.

Successful applicants will have access to regular supervision and support from the Consultant Clinical Psychologist working within the service.

The successful candidate will hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the HCPC. There are strong links with the Hull University Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Course and other local training course, including Leeds and Sheffield.  We encourage Psychologists to develop links with others throughout the region by promoting attendance at PQT and SIG events and we are a research-active Trust with a well-established research department and host an annual research conference. The trust also has a significant role in the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network.
