Job Description

Salary: £8,900 (based on £19,500 Full Time Equivalent)

Permanent & Part Time job

Hours of work: 16 hours per week across Monday – Friday supported by flexible working

Place of work: Mainly at our Warehouse in Rumney, Cardiff (Springmeadow Industrial Park, CF3 2ES) but also some potential travel to our shops or Head Office in Cardiff City Centre.

There is free car parking at our Warehouse and it’s within walking distance of a bus stop

You might have spotted we’ve just launched our new online shop. We’re so excited about it because it means we’ll be able to raise our online profile even more but importantly the funds we raise to help those affected by cancer too.

And, we’re adding to the online trading team! Due to an internal promotion we’ve got an opportunity for you if you’re fab at turning items into great online sales. Of course you’ll need to be super interested all things pre-loved and fashion as the job’s all about online selling and its operations. And, we’ve a wonderful team of volunteers who help us when they can to stage and take the photos, post listings and help us manage customer enquiries and post our sales out.

 

The Job

In this job you can expect to be doing things like:

  • Creating engaging content (photos & ads) via our online sales platforms to make money
  • Building and developing our volunteer team who support us in our online trading work
  • Always delivering great customer service online, on the phone or email or in person
  • Supporting the development of our online trading through your specialist knowledge to deliver training when it comes to online trading
  • Generating and managing our quality of online sales stock to maximise profits and appeal to customers using data and insight to drive activity
  • Building great relationships with our shops to support their online selling activities

So, we could be a good match if your CV shows that you have:

  • Experience in a similar opportunity where you get goods packaged and out the door to customers and can use online sales platforms and apps to market and sell items successfully
  • Have experience in the operational side of things when it comes to online trading such as taking great marketable and eye-catching photos and writing quality listings
  • A passion for online sales of quality items and are guided by sales and customer insight and data in making appropriate decisions
  • An interest in fashion, pre-loved items and researching expected values
  • Great people and relationship building skills where you demonstrate excellent customer service, collaborative team work and great interpersonal skills
  • Experience at managing getting goods sent out and delivered in a logical way and you can control costs
  • The right IT skills to be able to use mobile and desktop apps to upload information
