DESCRIPTION
The Learning Experience Coordinator is mission- driven and values working in an upbeat, collaborative environment. This position works closely with program staff and partners to plan, produce, and project manage over 100 learning experiences each year, including our BoardLead sessions, our live and virtual BoardLearn good governance experiences, and learning experiences for our corporate partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage BoardLearn’s continuous education series
- Oversee the BoardLearn platform and its user-base, working closely with Chief Program Officer and communications team to increase user engagement
- Partner with the program team to develop new ways to engage with the BoardLead Community through our training offerings
- Coordinate with team members on BoardLearn’s continuous education series
- Plan and support the development of new content for the BoardLearn platform
- Manage corporate board training engagements
- Execute on scheduling, technology, communications, and registration, and follow up for training and workshop sessions.
- Support Cause Strategy Partners’ team of governance trainers in content development
- Administer, facilitate and emcee corporate governance trainings, as needed
- Track attendance metrics and provide insights on training program performance to the programs and business development/marketing teams.
- Support BoardLead’s training component
- Coordinate with BoardLead program team to refine content and update decks for regular programmatic training sessions across BoardLead rounds and markets including:
- Nonprofit Information Session
- Candidate Information Sessions
- Nonprofit Kick-Off Webinar
- Candidate First Meeting Webinar
- In partnership with the Director of BoardLead, support the coordination and execution of corporate candidate information sessions, which could include including:
- Scheduling sessions
- Providing registration and attendance updates
- Conducting technology tests
- Managing recordings
- Enroll BoardLead candidates into BoardLearn courses at appropriate times in the BoardLead process.
- Support the execution of BoardLead’s suite of governance training sessions
- In partnership with the Chief Program Officer and Director of BoardLead, lead an internal task force designed to enhance the nonprofit experience through training, thought leadership, and resource development
- Coordinate with BoardLead program team to refine content and update decks for regular programmatic training sessions across BoardLead rounds and markets including:
- Work closely with the Founder & CEO, Chief Program Officer, and others, to support the development of new governance learning experiences
- Manage training data to understand impact and quality of learning experiences
- Support ongoing internal and external engagements in partnership with the Cause Strategy Partners team
SKILLS
The Learning Experience Coordinator will report to the Chief Program Officer while working closely with Founder and CEO and other members of the program and business development/ marketing teams. This professional must be adept at a number of core competencies, including:
- Must have a track record of creating visually compelling, high- quality presentation decks on both Google Slides and MS PowerPoint. Candidates will be asked to participate in an assessment that showcases this skill as a part of the hiring process.
- Must be adept at communicating with a host of internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Candidates will be asked to participate in an assessment that showcases this skill as a part of the hiring process.
- Must be skilled in navigating Google’s suite of software. This professional should have mastery of creating and administering video conferencing and webinars on Zoom and Google Meets. Ideally, this professional is familiar with Microsoft Teams, Blue Jeans, and Webex as well, though this is not a requirement.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and implementing multiple ongoing projects on tight timelines.
- Expected to take responsibility for tasks associated with successfully running a training program
- Expected to be ambitious, flexible, and creative. Every member of the team has high levels of passion and buy-in, and their creative ideas and strategies are deeply valued.
- Nonprofit governance is our passion – a familiarity with and dedication to the social good sector is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated interest and experience in continuous education and learning programs.
- A passion for community service.
- A general level of understanding of the nonprofit sector and social good space.

- Meaningful work or internship experience in a professional setting.

COMPENSATION
- Base Salary Range: $50,00-$55,000, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.
