Job Description

Job title:              AV and Studio Manager

Salary range:       £50,753 – £66,089

Type of contract: Full Time, Permanent, 40hrs per week

Location:             London, RCOG 10-18 Union Street, SE1

Working hours:   A 40-hour week, hours to be agreed on a weekly basis depending on activities in the College. Hours will normally be weekdays between 8am and 6pm although some evening and weekend work will be necessary. Time in lieu or paid overtime will be awarded for hours worked over and above 40 hours per week.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an AV and Studio Manager to join our team. This position is based in the Buildings and Guest department and answers to the Director of Buildings and Guest Services You will deliver high quality AV for online, hybrid and in-person meetings at 10 Union Street. You will work to produce content for RCOG course and training and encourage internal and commercial use of the new RCOG studio space.

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth running and operation of the digital studio and audio-visual services.

Work with the Events team to create an understanding on what technical requirements are necessary to enable quality event delivery.

Create pre-recorded content both in-house and remotely.

Engage with internal and external parties; plan, schedule, communicate, monitor and deliver digital studio work, events, room hire and other AV services.

Schedule and manage staff to support the digital and on premise delivery of all events at RCOG.

Support a culture of continuing development, including training and supporting the AV team to be competent to deliver Studio, Meeting room and Online events.

About you

This position is well-suited to a person with a keen eye for detail and is able to multitask across different digital event delivery styles.  You will have an organised and proactive approach with excellent customer management skills and be flexible in relation to working hours.

Requirements

  • Proficient user of video equipment, AV production software, digital studio workflow, digital streaming services and network infrastructure.
  • Confidence in managing digital broadcast and event platforms with understanding of vision mixing and live content delivery.
  • Able to manage a digital studio and support the delivery of in-person, hybrid and online events.
  • Drive to further develop service and processes to high standards.
