Temporary Acquisition Campaigns Specialist

ActionAid UK – Posted by ActionAid UK London, England, United Kingdom

Job Description

Full time role at 35 hours per week.

Fixed Term Contract for 11 months

Closing date: 22 March 2023

(Please note that as this role has been previously advertised, ActionAid UK will review cvs as they arrive and an appointment may take place prior to the closing date.  Therefore, we encourage you to apply promptly.)

ActionAid UK is a member of the ActionAid Federation, an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty.

As part of the ActionAid Federation, we work with women and girls, our partners, and dedicated staff in 43 countries to end violence and fight poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.

As our Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and optimising direct marketing acquisition campaigns, through a range of mostly offline channels, with a strong focus on F2F, Out of Home and Telemarketing, in order to meet the wider supporter acquisition targets and organisational objectives.

You will be required to negotiate with, manage and motivate key agencies and suppliers on a day-to-day level, making recommendations for approval and to use a range of metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on campaign results in a variety of formats, including review presentations and results trackers.

You will also be required to develop and manage the campaign budget and campaign activity plan. You will work collaboratively with other teams and departments on integrated appeals in order to successfully align acquisition activity with key external moments across the year.

It is essential that all applicants have experience in planning and managing direct marketing campaigns, including Face to Face and/or telemarketing campaigns.

If you have this skill set, along with a passion to work with an organisation committed to changing the lives of women and girls living in poverty for good, then we look forward to receiving your application.

ActionAid is committed to driving improvement through digital channels, tools and ways of working.  We will ensure that we provide the technology and the training to enable all staff to perform their roles to the best of their abilities. In return, we ask that all staff are committed to continually improving their digital skills and knowledge within the working environment. Our recruitment processes will evaluate the digital skills of all applicants.

ActionAid is committed to supporting flexible working. If you would like to discuss flexible working options, including the possibility of a job share for this role, there will be space to do so during the interview process.

We are committed to continually improving the diversity of our workforce and therefore encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQI+ community, the trans community, and those with a disability.
