Wildkind is primarily an events business with two market leading event properties; Camp Wildfire and Camp Kindling. Since being founded in 2015 we have been growing at 100% year on year. Over the next 10 years we aim to take our unique events worldwide to inspire, challenge and entertain over 1 million customers.

Key information

  • Salary: £32,500 to £42,500 per year depending on experience
  • Social: Monthly adventures/parties with your team
  • Health: £500 per year for your physical/mental health
  • Education: £1000 per year for your learning and development
  • Annual Leave: 30 days (including public holidays)
  • Location: Hybrid (Min 5 days per month in London Office)
  • Hours: Full-time flexible 40hrs per week (Min 3 hours per day 10:00-18:00 GMT/BST)

Your mission

Book and manage the delivery of a range of and entertainment for our events. Understanding our customers and prioritising resources to deliver the most valuable experience for them. Developing repeatable processes to improve efficiency and quality of event programme delivery. Developing unique activity and entertainment formats.

Your objectives

  1. Book and deliver activities and entertainment programmes for 3x events in Aug & Sep 2023.
  2. Create a system for managing relationships with programme contributors (activity leaders, musicians, comedians, speakers, crew etc) by the end of 2023.
  3. Create a scalable model enabling us to deliver activities and entertainment programmes with efficiency and to a high standard at a growing number of events over the next 3 years.
  4. Develop unique activity and entertainment formats to build the company’s intellectual property assets.

Your responsibilities

As a company we focus on objectives and results, with individuals driving the decisions on the best ways to achieve them. We have included this list of responsibilities to give you an idea of the starting point for this position; the exact responsibilities will develop under your leadership.

  • Curating a program of approximately 100 activities and 50 performances for each of Wildkind’s key summer events.
  • Management of each event’s programming budget.
  • Developing your knowledge, and Wildkind’s institutional knowledge, of the categories that we work with for activities (adventure & sports, arts & crafts, bushcraft & survival, food & drink, fun & games, health & wellbeing, music & dance, science & engineering) and entertainment (games, music, talks, films, comedy).
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive database of all entertainment & activity ideas and providers to track development and relationships.
  • Understanding both activity requirements for equipment, space, people, water, electricity, furniture & materials, and entertainment technical requirements. Working with the Event Manager to ensure they are all provided.
  • Recruitment and training of freelance staff to help deliver event programmes onsite.
  • Managing the on-site delivery of the event programme, ensuring they are of the highest quality and run punctually.
  • Researching and developing potential new activities and entertainment formats and how they could be delivered at events.
  • Continually working to improve the value for money we can deliver to our customers.

Your experience

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex outdoor events to a high standard and on budget
  • Love of cultural experiences and demonstrable experience of getting involved with activities and/or entertainment in a professional or personal capacity
