e-wellbeing is YMCA DLG’s innovative digital and participation service for children and young people requiring support for their mental health and emotional wellbeing. This service is a part of Dialogue, YMCA DLG’s therapeutic services operating across Sussex and Surrey. We provide online modules that young people receiving support can access as part of their treatment, a host of resources through our website that all children and young people can access and opportunities for young people to have their voices heard and influence the services that they receive. We also act as the Single Point of Access for youth mental health services in West Sussex, providing a central route for young people, their families, and professionals to request help.

As the Digital and Wellbeing Participation Lead you will be responsible for leading the e-wellbeing team in delivering co-produced, youth led projects including our e-wellbeing Ambassadors programme and Mental Health Champions in Schools work. In delivering the role, you will lead the development of our integrated digital referral pathways for support, the e-wellbeing website and our secure therapeutic, treatment and support applications.

You will lead a team of youth engagement and digital specialists to partner with children and young people and advocate for their needs with our partners, including Local Authorities and Health Services. You will be responsible for the management of relationships with a range of stakeholders, including practitioners and commissioners. In addition, you will share your experience and expertise with the wider Dialogue management team and contribute to the safe and effective running of our services in schools and the community.

Hybrid role with a combination of working on site and from home. We will also consider a job share for this role if this is of interest – please do apply. The expected working pattern will be Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm with occasional evening work.

WHO YOU ARE

The successful applicant will be a strong leader who has the ability to motivate and inspire a team and partners. You will be able to build and nurture relationships with a range of stakeholders and will have experience in managing complex, high profile projects. You will have an analytical mind, the ability to understand the story behind the data and the ability to present it in accessible formats. You will be committed to the principles of co-production and to the benefits of working in this way. In addition, you will have a thorough understanding of digital services and products and how to integrate these into service delivery.

So, if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with the job description, we’d love you to apply anyway. You might just be the perfect person for this role.
