Full-Time Management Assistant/Management Analyst – Transit

The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a full-time Management Assistant/Management Analyst in our Transportation Department. This is a mid-level professional position with responsibilities that include assisting with applying for and managing federal and state grant funding, assisting with operational and financial reporting and analysis, as well as performing a variety of administrative functions for GO Transit.
Work involves state, federal and local grants, service contracts, state and federal transportation regulation compliance, financial records and reporting, annual plan development, and strategic planning. In addition, a variety of administrative, analytical and operational reporting functions are performed.
This position will be filled as either a Management Assistant or Management Analyst, depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
Required Minimum Qualifications for Management Assistant
- Master’s Degree in Business, Public Administration or a closely related field. Graduate students who have substantially completed course requirements towards a Master’s Degree may also be considered.
- A valid driver’s license.
Required Minimum Qualifications for Management Analyst
- Master’s Degree in Business, Public Administration or a closely related field.
- Two or more years of related professional experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Annual Salary*
Management Assistant $49,328.24 – $56,375.02
Management Analyst $54,309.06 – $62,067.46
*Note: The hiring range for this will be increasing as of 1/1/2023.
