SALARY: $3,912.00 monthly minimum
STATUS & HOURS: Full-time, regular (approximately 2,088 annual hours) position.
BENEFITS: Eligible to participate in State Employee Group Insurance Program and a retirement program with employer contribution. Generous vacation and sick time accruals with additional paid holidays.

DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the Internal Communications Coordinator position is to be the steward of the internal MNHS brand and serve to enhance every employee’s understanding of MNHS, its vision and direction, while supporting overall strategic priorities and objectives. This Internal Communications
Coordinator will work on communicating how we hire, develop and support MNHS employees, as well as nurture and evolve our culture. The Internal Communications Coordinator will work cross-functionally to communicate with employees at all levels and across different teams about people related topics, change initiatives and processes.
This position will engage employees in understanding new and sometimes complex and nuanced information, as well as helping to plan and implement changes to processes and programs.
SUMMARY OF WORK: 1) Develop, write, and edit communications and organizational culture narratives for organization-wide channels, including live meetings, email, social sharing through MNHS’s intranet and digital platforms, FAQs, learning and development, and videos. Distill complex subjects into coherent and easy-to-understand language; 2) Produce, guide and facilitate multidirectional internal communications; 3) Create and execute internal communications and change management plans to connect employees with the purpose, progress, and priorities of the organization; identify process improvement opportunities, considering external environmental impacts; and 4) Collaborate with and support the Organizational Development team to develop an ongoing internal evaluation strategy that integrates across all communication channels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years experience in communications, organizational culture, change management or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Internal communications experience.
- Copywriting, proofreading and editing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and individuals to initiate and implement programs that meet specific standards.
- Demonstrated customer services skills sufficient to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships in conflict situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both orally and in writing.
- Ability to recognize and respect confidential information.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sufficient skills required to manage websites (e.g., sufficient understanding of web site and web page development, maintenance, design).
- Experience with digital communication channels
- Familiarity and experience with process improvement principles and change management methodologies.
