What the Experiential Store is:   

The Experiential store was created for our community to experience the full expression of lululemon’s pillars- Grow, Sweat and Connect. This space offers sweatlife experiences, such as sweat classes, meditation, food offerings and many other special events.  Our first Experiential store was opened in the summer of 2019 in Lincoln Park, Chicago.    

Who is the Experiential Educator:   

You are the foundation of our success.  You are the first point of contact with our guests.  You have a passion for guest experience and an eagerness to learn, teach and grow.  You are responsible for supporting our guests through their full building experience; educating on everything  our Experiential stores have to offer. You do this by being both a product expert and developing your own unique way of connecting with each guest and authentically sharing about our Experiential curated programming.       

A Day In The Life   

• Create an inclusive environment through behaviors and actions, for everyone and anyone in the Experiential store space   
• Practice agility, advanced communication and problem solving skills, prioritizing and adapting to daily business needs  
• Deliver world class guest experience through connection and education, inclusive of all of our unique offerings  
• Guide guests throughout the store, educating on our Experiential vision and purpose, generating interest for our offerings   
• Host guests for a variety of experiences, both virtually and in-person, inclusive of time in store at the café, taking sweat classes, attending events, etc.  

• Maintain strong product knowledge of our offerings and perform the tasks necessary to support the guest experience in all areas of our store  
• Practice and comply with all company safety policies and procedures and work in partnership with your team to ensure a safe workplace  
• Under the direction of the management team, you perform/complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request  

Must Haves   

• Work experience in service related industry   
• Self-starter, goal oriented   
• Passion for customer service    
• Flexibility and eagerness to work in various business operations capacities (retail, studio, food, etc.)  
• Desire to partake in creating new business practices and methods   

• Agility   
• Communicative   
• Technological proficient  
• Resourceful  
• Obtain necessary certifications upon request (i.e. Servsafe Food Safety)  

Qualifications   

• All employees’ availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time. The General Manager determines the availability needs, and this schedule could include a combination of shift times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends   
• lululemon reserves the right to make amendments to the schedule and/ or availability requirements from time to time and at its sole discretion   
• All employees are expected to be available to work “Black Friday” (the day after US Thanksgiving) and from the second week of December (the start of the second week in period 11) until the end of the holiday season, to be defined each year based in part on the time period guests are permitted to return holiday merchandise, on an annual basis  

• Applicants are a minimum of 18 years of age   
• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Hours expectation:  

• Part time: up to 23 hours  
• Full time: 24-40 hours  

• Status: Non-Exempt
