ABOUT THE JOB
As a Designer/Junior Associate, you will design documents including presentations and client manuals, social media posts, and a wide variety of other products. You will work with the teams to help develop campaigns and visual communications for clients and internal use. You will:
- Work as a team with the creative, research and strategy groups to develop and execute a variety of products including research reports, message manuals and campaign materials
- Use design to increase understanding of data through data visualization, infographics, photo and illustration choices, and icon development.
- Execute in a variety of forms including social, digital, video, etc.
- Help manage and update the Hattaway Communications website along with the Marketing Team.
YOU HAVE:
- A bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with relevant academic experience, including communications design and digital design.
- Up to two years design experience in a dynamic work environment. Agency experience preferred.
- A strong portfolio that includes data visualization, infographics, social content, visual identity, and real clients.
- Ability to work clean including creating and using templates, applying and replicating style for syndicated design, file maintenance, etc.
- Ability to organize work and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to clearly present your work and the strategy behind your design choices.
- Desire and willingness to expand, grow, and learn by working collaboratively and incorporating feedback on your work.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A commitment to an equitable workplace and the effort it takes to maintain one.
- Excellent Creative Cloud skills.
- Experience with non-profit and mission-driven organizations preferred.
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:
- Knowledge of content strategy and content creation to drive results.
