We are currently hiring for the position of:

TOTAL REWARDS SPECIALIST

 

The Total Rewards Specialist will support TIFF’s reward, recognition, and wellbeing programs. This role will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager, People & Culture and the Manager, Payroll & Benefits as well as the larger People & Culture team to execute and support the organization’s strategic priorities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR ADMINISTRATION (30%)

  • Act as the primary People & Culture point of contact for employee, and third-party vendor questions related to reward, recognition, and wellbeing programs
  • Process and track maternity, parental, and disability leave of absences and payments and understand trends
  • Oversee the processing of monthly invoices and payment of administrative fees for the People & Culture department
  • Process status changes and terminations confidentiality and thoughtfully
  • Document, maintain and identify efficiencies in administrative procedures for assigned rewards, recognition, and wellbeing services processes
  • Ensure intranet information is up-to-date and identify any additional information to include that would be relevant and enhance the employee Total Rewards experience
  • Maintain employee records and data changes in HRIS system
  • Compile reports as required and conduct data audits as required

 

REWARDS (30%)

  • Support on compensation initiatives with guidance from the Senior Manager, People & Culture and in collaboration with the Manager, Payroll & Benefits
  • Provide analytical and modeling support in developing compensation recommendations
  • Support the job evaluation process, facilitate and conduct job evaluations for new roles, maintain job level architecture, and assist with documentation
  • Support the total rewards benchmarking processes including environmental scans, survey completion, analysis of benchmark information on an annual and ad-hoc basis

 

RECOGNITION (15%)

  • Support in the creation and maintenance of staff appreciation and recognition programs

 

WELLNESS (25%)

  • Assist in the development of TIFF’s wellbeing programs and administer secondary Total Rewards programs including but not limited to corporate fitness membership, reward and recognition, educational assistance, and employee assistance programs with understanding of utilization and ideas for improvement

 

RATE OF PAY:

  • Job Grade 2
  • $26.22/ Hourly

 

CONTRACT DATES:

  • September 5 – December 31, 2022

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two to three years’ experience in human resources/compensation and benefits
  • Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader (CHRP/CHRL)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rewards, recognition, or wellness programs
  • Highly organized with strong project planning skills, the ability to work under strict deadlines as well as managing multiple priorities independently is required
  • Client service focus to act as a subject matter expert and providing valuable insight to all stakeholders
  • Analytical skills, detail-oriented, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (ex: pivot tables, lookups, Charts etc.,)
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or equivalent Human Resources Information System legislation in order to provide sound HR support
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation, collective agreement administration, and relevant HR policies and procedures
