The Role

Events play a huge part in the success of our brand within the organisation.

You will be the first point of contact for events held at both Sydney and Melbourne campuses

Your responsibility will be to communicate and help organise a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. This involves providing proactive, responsive and professional service to a diverse range of internal and external clients, including students, prospective students, staff, contractors and vendors.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the organisation and operation of internal and external events
  • Work with the marketing team and local precinct to promote events and campus facilities for hire
  • Manage the event calendar, review event requests, manage approvals and ensure resources and budget to support the event are in place.
  • Be available to coordinate events during and after regular campus hours as required
  • Ensure FOH staff briefed and appropriate levels of First Aid, Fire Warden and Workplace Safety in place to support for events

 

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience in Event Management
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of a high level of customer service
  • Proven skills in events operations
  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues using initiative and decision making
  • Familiarity with the music and entertainment management industry
  • Experience in staff rosters
  • Experience in front of house and reception duties
