OVERVIEW:

As a brand, our mission is to unite the conditioning community, and for the first time ever, we’ll be doing this in a permanent retail space.

As the most important role in the store team, you’ll play a pivotal part in bringing Gymshark to life, in real life.

Our store will behave in a way that’s totally unique to Gymshark. Our community and customers are our ‘family’, so we treat them as such. We don’t care if they buy, browse or just hang out. What matters is providing a safe space where everyone belongs and feels welcome.

As a Sales Associate in our flagship store you are our brand ambassador – ensuring that our community has the most incredible Gymshark experience. Working with your team, you will use your positive energy and sense of fun to build a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Creating community is your number one priority. You will build authentic connections with our community and customers to our store, helping to educate them about conditioning and inspiring them to be their personal best. Combining your excellent product knowledge, operational best practice and technological flair, you will offer a best-in-class service, helping our community to shop when and how they want.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Assisting and contributing to your store’s community, values and retail targets.
• Providing Industry leading customer experience.
• Ensuring our customers have an unforgettable shopping experience.
• Seamlessly move between all areas of the store whilst delivering consistent world-class service.
• Demonstrating Gymshark products, working with customers to identify their needs and match with the right products.
• Assisting customers with their queries using your product knowledge.
• Assisting with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes and promotions, investigating stock loss.
• Ensuring the store looks and feels ready to invite the world in.
• Attract and engage customers to bring them into the Gymshark community.
• Support the leadership team with specialist projects such as events, bringing them to life.
• Share knowledge of local community events, to identify future opportunities for the store.
• Actively meet new and current members of the Gymshark community, updating them on the exciting events coming to store, creating a fun, inclusive and diverse community.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure training is both followed and completed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• A passion for community, wellness, or fitness.
• Enjoy talking to people and be at ease approaching customers and talking about our products.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrate sales ability.
• A passion for retail.
• Enthusiasm and results driven.
• Clear communication skills.
• A passion for delivering legendary customer experience.
• A natural networker and connector.
• You are comfortable with digital technology.
• You can commit to working flexibly. This could be in-store, on weekends or bank holidays.

We are located on Regent Street, London with global presence from the Gymshark Community, if you’re bi/multilingual we’d love to hear from you (but it’s not a prerequisite).

We will be offering full time and part time positions with start dates between July and September.

In order to comply with PCI-DSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) which governs how we handle, store and access payment data, this position is subject to satisfactory results from necessary pre-employment checks, including a basic DBS check. This will be conducted at offer stage and covers unspent convictions only. In all cases we’ll always speak to you first and no offers will be automatically withdrawn.
