Full-Time Master Production Scheduler
Job Description
We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Master Production Scheduler within our operations team to help support our automotive business. As a Master Production Scheduler your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by optimizing a production plan to fulfill customer demands. The team you will be working with is hard-working, and values building a supportive environment.
So, what will you be doing as a Master Production Scheduler?
- Make production plans according to demand forecast and adapt as needed based on material availability, manpower, and equipment breakdown
- Monitor production activity and analyze data to meet production demand – escalating as needed
- Provide short-term demand forecast information
- Lead a Safety-first approach, maintaining a zero accident culture
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- 3 years experience in production planning or relevant operations and/or supply chain functions
- Experience in JIT production
- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning)
- Good command of MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong mathematics skills
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong decision making skills
- Stellar communication skills
Things we consider a plus
- Degree specialized in Supply Chain or Logistics
