This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated fundraising or communications professional within a fundraising program which is growing to new heights in support of one of the Triangle’s great natural and cultural resources.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • experience in database management, development, and/or nonprofit communications, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the areas where they are not yet expert
  • high standards for communication with external and internal parties
  • exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • a drive to both tackle independent projects and work with a team
  • excellent computer skills with the basics (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Docs, database tools, social media platforms) and ability to learn other job-specific tools (DonorPerfect, Constant Contact, Canva)
  • a love of our natural resources (bonus points: a love of the Eno!), and comfort being outdoors in any weather condition
  • emotional maturity, energy, creativity, confidence, and a sense of humor

The position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, exempt from overtime. Most work will take place during regular working hours, but some evening and weekend work may be necessary. Please note: all employees are required to support the programs that the Eno River Association hosts July 4th and New Year’s Day, so flexible holiday dates are offered instead. Salary: $50,000, with a benefits package including paid vacation, PTO, health insurance reimbursement, and 403(b).
