Job Description
The Department of English at Bishop’s University is seeking applications for two 10-month Limited Term Appointments (Sept. 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023).
- Canadian Literature: the successful candidate will be expected to teach 6 courses. While our primary interest is in covering Canadian Literature, the ability to teach American, Indigenous, and Contemporary Literature is an asset, as is the ability to contribute more broadly to the delivery of other courses in the program. Course allocations will be determined in consultation with the department.

- Romantic Literature: the successful candidate will be expected to teach 6 courses. While our primary interest is in covering Romantic Literature, the ability to teach Eighteenth Century and Victorian Literature is an asset, as is the ability to contribute more broadly to the delivery of other courses in the program. Course allocations will be determined in consultation with the department.
