Full-Time Technology Analyst, Equal Opportunity & Title IX

Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Technology Analyst, Equal Opportunity & Title IX.  This position is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of accurate record-keeping systems and reports, including but not limited to serving as the primary Maxient user (Level 5) or comparable program for the University Community.  The incumbent assists in compliance with federal and state reporting and training mandates, runs reports to provide statistical support for campus compliance priorities and obligations and facilitates the related record keeping and publishing requirements of applicable NSHE policies, and state and federal laws.  The incumbent trains all campus Maxient users, serves as the liaison between the campus, the vendor, and campus IT department regarding the Maxient system and user requirements, ensures data integrity of system data, develops complex queries, and generates reports related to casework, trends, etc., as required. The incumbent also assists with the integration and utilization of other software systems such as Everfi and Vector.

The incumbent is also expected to maintain accurate and complete records of all investigations in a timely manner, digitizing and maintaining records, and complying with website compliance provisions as required, and honoring all applicable records retention policies and protocols. The incumbent facilitates software integrations for training and other compliance requirements, facilitates EO/TIX technology requirements, supports other projects as assigned and maintains confidentiality in the performance of all duties.

High School Graduation and four (4) years of related work experience; OR an Associate’s degree and three (3) years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree and one (1) year of related work experience.

Related Experience:  customer service, data analysis, and end user experience in business operations; some experience with administration of a business system.

Schedule and Travel Requirements

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.  Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation Grade

Administrative Faculty – B

Total Compensation

The total compensation package includes a competitive salary, moving allowance (if applicable), a rich retirement plan, health insurance options that include dental and vision, life insurance, thirty (30) days of sick leave provided upon start date and two (2) days of sick leave accrued per full month after the first year of service, two (2) days of annual leave accrued each full month, along with many other benefits.
