Full-Time HRIS Business Analyst

As an HRIS Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to help bring consistency in our HR processes across the company.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by the efficiencies those processes create.  The team you will be working with is customer service driven, works well together, and values autonomy, solving problems, and getting the job done.

So, what will you be doing as an HRIS Business Analyst?

Process

  • Process Documentation: Gathering, explaining and help document AS IS processes and help determine the best TO BE human resource processes.
  • Recommend HR process and workflow to improve efficiency, productivity, and/or customer service.
  • Define and document specifications for business processes, which supports company and compliance practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Human Resources best practices.
  • Maintaining documentation and continuous process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, data, and process-related issues.

Systems

  • Manage projects of small to medium size and scope.
  • Creates a link between end users and the implementation team.
  • Testing all business processes in HRIS test environments and capturing defects which appear during testing
  • Assist end-users with identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Review and coordinate proposed changes on impact to system and users.
  • Follow data security and privacy practices and standards while meeting end-user needs.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participate in the overall direction and implementation of modules.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Information Technology or Business Administration and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong skills in understanding the integration of HR processes, system functionality, analytics, organizational models, and change management activities
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Requires minimum three years of experience evaluating business processes and applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of the end-users and their business functions
  • Strong documentation ability as well as skillset to create and update training, testing and user guide documentation
  • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills and organization and time management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Things we consider a plus:

  • 5+ years’ experience evaluating business processes and applications
  • Experience leading technical projects with a project management skillset
