ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Risk Associate to join our rapidly growing risk team work within a highly quantitative framework.  This person will play a critical role in developing a data driven risk management framework for lending, payments or fraud risk strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop insights and data visualizations to solve complex problems and communicate ideas to internal stakeholders.
  • Extract and analyze data, investigate data integrity, generate metrics and perform ad hoc analysis.
  • Partner with data engineers to validate & deploy solutions in an efficient, sustainable & usable manner.
  • Investigate data trends to identify risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to create dashboards to track KPIs around credit and fraud strategy and portfolio performance.
  • Develop and maintain risk policies and procedures
  • Coach and mentor new analysts 

ABOUT YOU:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Risk or data science for Risk Analyst. 3-5 years of experience in Risk or data science for Risk Associate
  • Experience within the start-up space is a plus.
  • Prior experience in risk or analytics space a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Highly Analytical.
  • Proficient with SQL, R, Python
