ABOUT THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a Manager, Payment and ACH risk to join our rapidly growing team and lead payments and ACH risk strategy within a highly quantitative framework.  This person will play a key role in launching new product lines and risk management of existing products and will report directly to the Head of Credit. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop data driven framework to ACH Risk strategy for early settlement  
  • Develop risk strategies for Remote Deposit Capture(RDC) and partner with Product, Risk, Data Science and Technology teams to implement risk strategies 
  • Identify and explore new approaches, vendors and potential partnerships to assess risk capabilities for ACH  and payments risk  
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track ACH losses    
  • Develop and maintain ACH risk policy 

ABOUT YOU: 

  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in the Risk department of a regulated financial institution. 
  • Experience within the start-up space a plus. 
  • Prior experience managing ACH and payment risk strategies. 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Highly Analytical
  • Ability to integrate payments and ACH risk within Operations, Engineering & Marketing.
  • Proficient with SQL, R, Python
