LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an ambitious and thoughtful manager to create professional development at Current. You’ll be the founding member and your work will impact all phases of the talent lifecycle. Professional Development at Current will provide employees opportunities to grow their skills and reach their professional goals. This role delivers training and development programs for everyone at Current, from onboarding to leadership development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with team leaders to build customized trainings
- Personally deliver trainings and train others to present engaging learning modules
- Serve the unique learning and development needs of our employees
- Be an internal expert on talent management
- Drive talent processes across the company with:
- Pre-hire communication and onboarding
- Continuous training and development
- Executive coaching
- Grow the Professional Development function and scale the organization’s approach
- Measure outcomes
- Continuously improve and innovate around learning outcomes by gathering feedback from participants, measuring impact, researching industry best practices, and creating interactive and engaging training
- Align with HR and recruiting teams to build and present a talent narrative for candidates and employees
- Build trust in the Professional Development function across the organization
ABOUT YOU:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience leading organizational learning efforts
- Ability to adapt, be flexible, and build expertise in new areas and projects
- Outstanding attention to detail and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to execute on multiple work streams simultaneously
- People-focused, an emotionally intelligent team player
