Full-Time Girl’s Indoor Lead, National Team Development Program
Job Description
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Lead Girls Indoor program logistics and operations to include event locations, contracts for hosts, registrations, independent contractors, transportation, and on-site operations.
- Lead the optimization of departmental resources through effective financial planning and management. Develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Lead NTDP Training Series and local/regional Accelerator initiatives for Girls Indoor to provide differentiated and developmentally appropriate training and competition experiences for selected athletes.
- Serve as Team Leader for Age Group National Teams for domestic training and international competitions, including management of logistics, travel, and athlete oversight.
- Coordinate processes for athlete selection and post-scout ranking. Critically evaluate current processes for areas of improvement to maximize benefit to our athletes and the sport of volleyball.
- Support recruitment of selected athletes and utilize effective communication strategies in support of athletes, parents, club coaches, directors, and Region Commissioners for Girls Indoor.
- Support the implementation of athlete evaluation initiatives including process development, calibration across the NTDP Scouting Network, and creation of feedback reports.
- Support the creation and implementation of individual athlete development plans, athlete tracking initiatives, and athlete development research.
- Support the implementation of metrics to evaluate and report upon athlete progress, athlete, coach, and parent engagement, stakeholder satisfaction, and program impact.
- Support the NTDP Academy to provide high quality, online learning experiences for athletes, coaches/club directors, and parents.
- Support the development of a national network of qualified scouts to effectively identify high potential youth players in each discipline of the Game.
- Collaborate with internal departments effectively market, and communicate all elements of the NTDP to athletes, parents, coaches, Regions, and other various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Coach Education and National Team staffs to ensure that programs, philosophies, and language are aligned across the competitive spectrum.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in event/program management.
- Demonstrated understanding of holistic youth athlete development is required. This includes but is not limited to technical, tactical, physical, and mental/psychological development of youth sport athletes.
- Volleyball coaching and/or playing experience is not required but will be positively considered.
- Experience with Hudl online video platform and athlete data management systems is a plus.

- Proficient with office-related software including word processing, database and spreadsheet

- Passion and energy to promote and engage people of diverse backgrounds and identities
- Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
- Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and remain current.
Salary: $45,000.00
