Full-Time Program Manager
Job Description
NEW Pride Agenda (NPA) is seeking a full-time program manager to facilitate and manage our core programming.
Program Strategy
- Manage the strategic direction of our programs to support the creative concept and design processes.
- Work closely with community partners and lead on creating programs from creative ideation to program execution and implementation.
- Evaluate and iterate upon our current program creation processes for continuous improvement.
Project Management
- Ensure the successful and timely delivery of NPA programming by managing all phases of the program lifecycle.
- Coordinate to ensure each programmatic deliverable gets the level of support it needs to achieve its goals.
- Implement systems to actively monitor program performance, develop interventions to ensure successful outcomes, and maximize efficiencies.
Know Your Audience
- Engage with NPA supporters and members to gain insights into what impact areas matter most to them and advise the team on how to best frame our programming to resonate widely.
- Maintain community contacts and partnerships to keep a pulse on changes in the LGBTQ+ community engagement and democracy fields.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in program management.
- Cultural competency sensitivities to the diverse characteristics of the LGBTQ+ communities and intersections of identity including gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, disability, and socioeconomic status.
- Cultural and linguistic competence working with the transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary communities.
- Training and experience in program development, implementation, management and evaluation.
- Training and Experience in Sexual Health and HIV prevention.
- Effective communication, computer, and documentation skills; proficient in Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and electronic record keeping.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Flexible schedule; must be willing to work some evenings and occasional weekends.

Salary: $45k-$63k (Commensurate with Experience)
