The role is within our Asset Movement Operations team that is responsible for reviewing client asset movement transactions involving cash and/or securities from a risk management, compliance, and quality perspective. The team also offers valued service to our clients pertaining to asset movement related processes and systems.

Responsibilities:

A specialist associate on our Asset Movement Operations team is trained to review cash and securities transactions, risk-based rules, and to make quality decisions to minimize risk to clients and Pershing|BNYM. They assess account balances and holdings, review supporting documentation, and use knowledge of regulatory rules and internal procedures to assess work items, often as the last line of defense.  They work in a collaborative environment with other team members to complete high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment and may assist and train other members of the team.  The associate also interacts directly with clients via phone and email to provide support on processes and systems related to the job function.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:

  • High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required
  • 5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing preferred
  • General knowledge of the securities industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent client service skills
