The Accounting/Finance Manager will be a central part of the organization’s accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions. This position reports directly to the CFO and the CEO.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and or perform account reconciliations performed by the bookkeeper
- Full G/L responsibility Work with third-party auditor’s accountants on financial reporting and annual tax return preparation
- Assist the CEO and CFO prepare the annual budget
- Prepare monthly, management reports
- Prepare quarterly budget to actual reports
- Prepare year-end budget to actual reports
- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
- Interpret and analyze financial information posted to general ledger accounts
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries
- Prepare and maintain supporting documents
- Provide ad hoc requests from CFO and CEO as required
- Interact with operations personnel to obtain accounting information as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in finance or accounting
• 5-7 years of related experience
• Experience in QuickBooks or Xero
• Ability to navigate all Microsoft office tools
• Strong work ethic and motivation skills
