We are looking for an exceptional Content Marketing Manager to join our team to drive awareness and demand generation for DomainTools. In this role, you will build and execute our PR, social media, and content strategy. You will work closely with others on the marketing, product, and our external PR partners to design programs that promote DomainTools’ position in the market, create demand for our solutions, and build awareness in our target audiences.

Reporting into the Director of Marketing, this role will be the communications strategist on a small, but growing marketing team that moves quickly and shares broad responsibilities. We are looking for a unique individual that can establish a winning strategy and execute with world-class excellence. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead on strategic and tactical initiatives, a growth mindset with a commitment to delivering results, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and the passion and drive to have full ownership of content marketing.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing high caliber blogs, email copy, case studies, webinar abstracts, web copy and social content
  • Measuring and improving content performance; creating reports leveraging Marketo, Google Analytics, and social media analytics tools
  • Project managing content produced by other marketing team members and dotted lines to our team
  • Owning content-based demand generation initiatives including webinars, virtual events, content syndication, and nurture
  • Editing content produced by our PR, marketing, 3rd party partners, and cross-functional initiatives, overseeing development
  • Partnering with marketing specialists, PR agencies, graphic designers, product teams, and internal team members to create and review all content and ensure consistent messaging
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • 3+ years with proven content marketing experience and demonstrable results
  • Enterprise B2B cybersecurity, ITOps, cloud computing, DevSecOps marketing experience preferred
  • A data driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field is preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (particularly Marketo) would be a plus
  • Foundational understanding of pulling data from Google Analytics
  • Experience with social publishing and analytics tools (Sprout Social) is preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic
  • Driven and self-sufficient and able to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively, collaborate internally to get things done and be accountable for your decisions.
  • Fast learner, adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and corresponding value propositions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
