ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages LLC is hiring a Distribution Center Manager for the Reading territory.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for day to day activities of directing, controlling and coordinating all phases of the Warehouse, Distribution and Fleet operations including all facility maintenance responsibilities can capital planning.
  • Liaison between distribution and sales management to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage execution of day to day Distribution, Warehouse and Fleet operations within parameters of both labor and other operating expense budgets.
  • Responsible for overall facility maintenance/management.
  • Assist in the selection, supervision, and development of personnel.
  • Assist in the establishment, analysis and submission of annual departmental budgets.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with all other departments in order to achieve goals and customer satisfaction. Responsible for the overall demand forecast process. Work with Sales Department for planning and forecasting of volume.
  • Adhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements.
  • Support and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics.
  • Proactively improve process functioning and strive for enhanced levels of efficiency.
  • Ensure the safeguard and security of Company assets.
  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures. Maintain quality standards.
  • Local travel may be necessary. Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:             

  • Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience in a similar position; Bachelor’s Business or Supply Chain preferred.
  • 5+ years previous Supply Chain/Operations supervisory or management experience (which includes Distribution, Warehouse and Fleet responsibilities) in a related industry; 8+ years preferred.
  • Hands on Manager who can operate with limited direction.
  • Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiencies with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, SAP preferred.
  • General understanding of Food Safety, OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
