Ball State University welcomes application for a Project Manager for Digital Corps. The Ball State University Digital Corps is an on-campus creative agency powered by students. We’re problem solvers and big thinkers. As part of the IT family, our primary goal is to serve as a catalyst to the campus community using technology in creative, innovative, and immersive directions to advance and support the mission and goals of the university. Our distinct teams – video, design, development, user experience, communication, and project management – combine to create interdisciplinary project teams made stronger by a dynamic Project Manager. This person will maintain the successful day-to-day project operations of the Academic Project Support Office and the Digital Corps by making sure projects, staff, and the workplace are functioning effectively and efficiently to meet client demands, promote student success, deliver high-quality projects on time, and support the university.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment. Or, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree: Associate’s degree plus an additional combination of education or experience in project management equivalent to two years. Or, High school diploma or GED plus an additional combination of education or experience in project management equivalent to four years. At least two years of project management experience. Excellent communication skills. Interest or experience working with media and technology projects. The ability to quickly adapt and become familiar with university processes and procedures, and quickly establish a rapport and confidence among multiple university units and levels of the organization.

 

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of project management experience in a higher education institution, creative agency, or similar organization. Familiarity with project management software.
