TEAM:

The Commercial/Brand team at Clif Bar is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager, Luna.

Position Objectives & Primary Responsibilities

The Assistant Brand Manager is the introductory position into the CLIF Bar & Company brand group.  This position supports the brand team in a variety of general management, brand marketing, and product innovation responsibilities.

  • Analyze brand health, business performance, and competitive updates using syndicated data (IRI) and other resources.
  • Support brand renovation (new product and packaging) through commercialization, including routing/approving packaging creative and collaborating with cross-functional teams on project timelines & deliverables. May also include assisting in consumer research and marketing plans.
  • Execute marketing programs as needed, including reviewing creative assets and supporting digital & retailer marketing programs.
  • Manage Brand budget, including invoice processing, and partnering with internal teams to ensure on time and on track spending.
  • Support development of integrated annual brand plans, forecasts, financial updates, and other key brand & business initiatives.

 

Position-Specific Skills

  • Familiarity with project management across functions which includes a high-level of organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and follow through.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and motivate others across the organization.
  • Basic financial acumen and ability to analyze data to uncover insights and provide recommendations
  • Ability to think critically and creatively along with a curiosity and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Passion for consumer insights and an understanding of marketing levers (4Ps, consumer marketing tactics).
  • Develop presentations for audiences ranging from brand team to senior leadership to retailers to the entire company.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
  • Bachelor degree a plus.
