About Your Role:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices and expense reimbursements. This position works under strict deadlines and must be able to multitask effectively. The Accounts Payable Specialist will have contact with vendors and other various levels across the company, which requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. While this role is remote, this role is required to be in the Los Angeles area.
What You’ll Do:
- Communicate effectively with vendors and other various levels across the organization
- Record invoices and expense reimbursements ensuring all necessary information is entered
- Ensure all requests at hand are processed timely based on internal policies and procedures
- Process weekly payment runs through ACH
- Research and reconcile monthly vendor statements
- Investigate and resolve issues associated with invoices and communicate the resolution to the appropriate persons on a timely basis
- Ad-hoc accounts payable projects as assigned
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes, internal controls, financial analysis tools and techniques
- Intermediate skills with MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Impressive attention to detail; ability to learn quickly and execute effectively
- Resourceful team player
- Ability to stay organized with a wide variety of tasks
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable team player willing to do whatever it takes and work hard
