- Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Ten years managing mid to large-scale programs and initiatives including knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in change management, talent acquisition or culture building a plus.
- Strong experience creating HR dashboards, trend analysis and reporting.
- Ability to create and give presentations, deliver results in a fast- paced environment.

The Director of Business Change Initiatives will be responsible for working with senior leaders to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support building a strong culture and achieving corporate goals. The Director of Business Change Initiatives will also demonstrate the ability to lead while being compassionate and collaborative. This is a remote position but will require frequent travel to our corporate headquarters office, which is located in Plano, TX.
About the role:
- Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to Human Resources and Corporate Initiatives. Support includes building programs, designing tools, facilitating training and tracking results.
- Owns the program framework for Employee Resource Groups and Values Ambassadors, mitigating roadblocks, and supporting teams as a strategic advisor.
- Facilitates employee surveys and action planning & collaborate with cross function teams.
- In conjunction with communications team, partner to build an internal communications strategy, drafting materials applicable to specific programs.
- Uses strategic thinking skills to identify potential issues, project change, and scope data.
- Leads efforts in a compassionate manner to identify best practices in building employer brand. Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
- Identifies opportunities to position Avita as a leader, engaged employer, or great place to work.
- Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
- Conducts cost/benefit analyses as needed & demonstrates the ability to be resourceful.
- Builds support and champions for business change throughout the matrixed organization.
