Full-Time Portfolio Coordinator – DEI (Remote)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategy sessions, brainstorming sessions, ideation sessions, and other planning sessions with stakeholders representing different levels, departments, functions, roles, and responsibilities within BCT and client organizations
- Guide the development of tactical implementation plans
- Coordinate the execution of workplans, organize teams and budgets, and ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and control project accounting and administration responsibilities of the project portfolio
- Coordinate activities with the BCT Accounting department and project managers on contract modifications that affect budgets, deliverables, scope of work, and/or billing cycles.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports on overall project health, budgets, and resource allocation including staff and consultants.
- Organize and schedule monthly “Project Check-in” meetings with BCT project managers.
- Provide training and facilitation as needed to build organizational capacity
- Ensure project team understands their duties and are aware of performance expectations and deadlines
- Be open to and receive feedback; resolve problems and involve senior leaders as appropriate
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management in support of BCT’s goals and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree may be satisfactory
- 3+ years professional experience in roles that required managing projects, stakeholder engagement, and report generation; strong organizational, administrative and project coordination skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and spoken communication skills with the ability to effectively facilitate online or in-person meetings
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners, staff, remote colleagues and others
- Experience coordinating projects and motivating high performing teams and individuals with more seniority and who are supervised by others
- Able to think critically, exercise sound judgment, ask questions and be open to the input and decisions of others; both independently and collaboratively lead, solve problems, make decisions and manage change
- Ability to develop templates and tools to provide guidance and support to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Computer, Internet and general proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required; able to adapt quickly to new technologies
- Must be able to travel (post COVID-19) to client sites and other BCT work related locations as required; estimated at 20% of work time
