Full-Time Procurement Analyst

Position Summary: The Procurement Analyst has the responsibility of supporting the Procurement Department in the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. This position requires execution of both tactical and strategic elements of procurement to maximize service level to operations at minimum cost while maintaining world class quality that is associated with Instinct.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Review and fulfill purchase requirements for direct item purchases through purchase orders.
- Track, monitor, expedite delivery of goods and services with suppliers.
- Integrate materials requirement with Operations to enable seamless execution.
- Manages supplier receipt exception process and arranges for return of obsolete and surplus material, return of rejected materials, and contact vendors concerning billing errors.
- Assist with data gathering and analytics.
- Provide support and build relationships with stakeholders in different departments.
- Uses ERP system reporting and best practices for accurate inventory planning and stocking levels.
- Assist with additional projects as assigned to meet needs of the organization.

Skills and Technical Expertise:
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite highly desired with emphasis on Excel Skills
- Experience within CPG or retail companies preferred.
- Experience in SAP or other related ERP/MRP system(s) highly desired in successful candidate
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 0 to 2 years of procurement, supply chain or analytical related experience.
