Position Description:
These technicians will be key in analyzing, reviewing, onboarding, testing and certifying the applications that will be onboarded into the clients platform from Client Vance. They will evaluate if existing applications already exist in clients platforms (TAI, SPAR, etc.), as well as manage version controls and any data/user setup requirements and configuration transfers to their end-state.
Candidate will review applications to be onboarded into clients and identify desktop dependencies and work on packaging and testing and functionality validation of applications. Candidate will also work on identifying dependencies and advising on the packaging of clinets applications on the Client Vance desktop platform.
Key skills required:
• 3-5 years of experience in Window administration and desktop applications
• Experienced in testing of desktop and web applications
• Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environment
• Strong troubleshooting mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write technical and operational management documentation
• Coordinate the testing of applications and development of reporting status
• Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with external customers and co-workers Self-motivated, a quick learner and able to work with little supervision
• Working knowledge of Linux and desktop applications.
