Starting Wage: $13.69 per hour, plus excellent benefits
Hours: Part Time, up to 25 hours per week

Are you a passionate, caring leader looking to foster cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development for school-aged children? Serving as a youth lead for the Center for Community Impact, you will have the opportunity to provide assistance with leadership, instruction and motivation for program participants in youth programming. If selected for this position, you will be responsible to plan, lead and participate in small group activities in a variety of outdoor and indoor settings. You will also get the opportunity to serve meals to youth in the community. You will create a safe, positive and fun environment.

Are you a good fit?

  • You are a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • You have at least one year of related experience.
  • You have knowledge of child development and classroom or small group management skills.
  • You love working with people.
  • You are able to instruct youth classes and program activities including the use of tools and equipment.
  • You are organized, proactive and know how to get things done.
  • You have a Food Handler’s permit (may be required for specific programs or grant work).
  • You have CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or commit to obtaining.
