Full-Time Vice President of Product & Portfolio Marketing

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Develop messaging, positioning, sales tools and collateral to differentiate our products from the competition. Drive customer acquisition and retention and sustain Icertis’ leadership position in the rapidly growing CLM space.
  • Responsible for leading portfolio strategy positioning and solution GTM alignment as a partner to the head of Product Mgmt. and PreSales.
  • Define, package, price and position our offerings to accelerate customers through the sales funnel.
  • Assess the competitive landscape and develop effective compete strategies leveraging research, win-loss and intent insights, and customer feedback.
  • Leads Vertical and Platform-focused Product Marketing teams (10 people) – SMEs responsible for full product bill of materials, sales content, targeting, messaging and positioning. These teams work in direct support of regional / persona / vertical Integrated Campaigns to drive awareness, demand gen and pipeline acceleration for key audiences.
  • Understand and define the customer buying journey, and articulate the buying criteria and business needs of our customers and key personas.
  • Become an expert in our key user personas, and make compelling product demos and presentations that speak to their business challenges.
  • Provide data-driven insights powered by understanding the role product marketing plays in product awareness and lead generation for the Icertis platform
  • Drive Analyst Relations strategy, and lead AR team. (2 people) Own the end-to-end relationship with key Industry Analysts and influencers including briefings, inquiries and rankings.
  • By working cross-functionally you will be impacting our ability to drive bookings and revenue, create loyal customers that choose Icertis over the competition, and provide our sales teams with the information they need to close business.

  • Strong understanding of the B2B Enterprise SaaS market
  • Data insights and analytic skills—you must be able to understand the role digital marketing plays in product awareness and lead generation for your product suite
  • Experience, knowledge and/or understanding of product marketing within a consultative/ solution selling model
  • Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision and that can engage with the product team to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with executives and marketing counterparts
  • Proven track record of attracting retaining top talent and building an inclusive environment
  • Product marketing represents the voice of the customer. And sometimes the only way to understand what the customer journey is to buy our products is to get out from behind the desk and get into their world. So, there will also be occasional travel to events and our customers’ offices to help you get a handle on what drives our success.
  • 10-15+ years in Enterprise B2B software Product Marketing including leading a team of product marketers
  • Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based on data analysis
  • Highly efficient collaborative team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • Exceptional prioritization and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings
