We have a diverse team of Sales and Business Development professionals dedicated to the development of new and growing existing customer relationships on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join the team.

 

Your impact with include;

 

Work with global sales support teams

 

Develops opportunities to sell company products and services by developing leads via telephone or other technologies and/or cold-calling prospects generated by external sources.

 

Handles inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and converts these opportunities into sales.

 

Conducts negotiations according to company guidelines.

 

Achieves revenue and margin targets. Ensures customer satisfaction through use of the Cummins

 

Sales Process and execution of the sales cycle from lead to sale.

 

Creates and delivers qualified leads to sales representatives where appropriate.

 

Assists salesforce with quotation/RFP management and other sales cycle operations as needed.

 

Builds and/or maintains positive customer relationships that generate loyalty and/or future sales.

 

Supports negotiations according to company guidelines.

 

To be a success in this role you will need;

 

University degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.

 

Prior experience as an application engineer or another technical sales support function desirable.

 

Experience working with Sales teams in an Engineering related sector

 

Develops efficient working tools for the regions

 

Sales and Marketing experience is also preferred

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
