Pay Range: $54,862.02 – $74,200.88

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will work hand in hand with the Operations teams to insure that recruiting goals are met for Craft and Field office support roles. Your role will help establish Centuri companies as an employer of choice by providing an excellent candidate experience, developing partnerships in the community, and championing the company’s employer brand. You will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Development.

 

Position may sit within driving distance of our Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, or Massachusetts offices.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide full-cycle recruiting for our Eastern region Field Operations Gas teams
  • Manage reqs for skilled trade and field office-based professional positions
  • Partner with the local HR teams to source, recruit, and onboard up to 100 hires per month
  • Manage job requisitions and internal applications utilizing the ATS (SuccessFactors)
  • Help Centuri companies stand apart as an employer of choice by providing an excellent candidate, onboarding and new hire experience
  • Pre-screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
  • Effectively manage a streamlined onboarding experience
  • Cultivate relationships with technical schools, industry organizations, and community and military partners to develop long-term talent pipelines
  • Plan, organize and participate in career fairs and community events
  • Provide additional recruiting support across the other US Gas regions as needed
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You’ll Have

  • 3+ years of high volume, in-house, recruitment experience preferably in a construction or blue collar work environment
  • Understanding of employment practices and employment law
  • Ability to positively represent the company in a professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Excellent customer-service skills, with timely responses to requests
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Some travel required (less than 25%)

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
