Job Description

Systems Project Analyst

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI


Responsible for the scheduling of assigned sourced or make materials to achieve the highest service levels to the end customer with the lowest inventory cost. Build and maintain strong supplier and manufacturing relationships to achieve continuous improvements in delivery, quality and cost. Participate in supply chain decision-making and supplier selection. Coordinate and improve the flow of materials between Suppliers, other areas of Kohler, and WI Faucets to maximize line item on time in full delivery performance

Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, MRP and Pull. Complete understanding of numerous system set points (master data), their control on planning and the management of them. Advanced knowledge of both component and assembly processes and the proper scheduling of them based on the SCOR model. Strong analytical skills capable of analyzing problems, proposing solutions and implementation.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Place and maintain production/purchase orders for on-time delivery of materials while tracking actual results and conformance to the schedule.
  • Meet end customer expectations of 98% on time and fill rate metrics.
  • Develop and maintain stores for on-time delivery of materials under pull systems.
  • Develop sustainable practices while leveraging SAP to manage an inventory position that equates to >8 annual turns.
  • Proactively anticipate, identify, communicate, and help resolve problems that will impact the schedule and delivery performance.
  • Build trust by working in partnership with manufacturing, suppliers and buyers to reduce lead times and minimum order quantities based on the product life cycle.
  • Focus on the end customer by improving business and supply chain processes.
  • Participate in daily tier meetings as the voice of the customer.
  • Participate in global-based project teams to align business units in SAP best practices.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
  • Participate in safety training and accident prevention.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain or Materials/Logistics Management.
  • 2-3 years’ experience required in Supply Chain if no bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Desired certification from leading Supply Chain Professional Organization (CSCMP, APICS, ISM) recommended.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement, mathematical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Very strong leadership, team building, and facilitation skills.
