What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, economics (or relevant work experience)
  • 3 – 5 years professional experience in management consulting, strategic planning or other related functions
  • Experience in information services, financial services or digital industries preferred
  • Experience working with or for nonprofits focused on advancing economic equity a plus
  • Demonstrated profound understanding of strategy
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to take initiative and ownership and effectively leverage resources to drive successfully outcomes
  • Strong problem solving skills: ability to break down complex problems into critical parts, identify the key causes and effectively prioritize and execute way forward
  • Strong critical thinking skills: ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames
  • Exceptional analytical skills: ability to logically and systematically visualize and efficiently tackle tasks

Impact You’ll Make:

As the Consultant in the U.S. Markets and Consumer Interactive team, you will support high-profile growth initiatives for our combined $2B+ business unit. TransUnion is experiencing significant expansion, including entry into new markets and launching new growth initiatives as we integrate the teams and capabilities from the recent acquisitions. In addition, we continue to pursue our strategic objective of promoting Financial Inclusion to ensure consumers are able to leverage their credit profile to create a high quality of life for themselves and their family. The U.S. Markets and Consumer Interactive Strategy and Planning team collaborates with senior leaders across multiple vertical lines of business and other cross-functional groups to develop business plans and strategy for existing and emerging markets. As a Consultant, Strategy & Planning, you will play an important role in supporting the team across several ongoing strategic initiatives. In particular the role will be focus on supporting Financial Inclusion projects.

Financial Inclusion

  • Analyze the financial services industry and all adjacent industries to inform TransUnion’s financial inclusion strategy; this will include identifying best practices and new evolving opportunities to specifically advance credit inclusion
  • Program manage the execution of financial inclusion initiatives within TransUnion as well as with our U.S. Market customers and nonprofit partners
  • Support programing to position TransUnion as a premier industry leader in advancing financial inclusion


  • Analyze market opportunities and develop robust strategies to position the company beyond its current operational plans, including: growth and new market entry, organizational transformation and operational efficiency
  • Develop and coordinate processes for strategy and planning activities across U.S. Markets and Consumer Interactive
  • Support M&A efforts as needed, from diligence and integration through to combined strategy development and value realization


  • Lead development of recurring reporting such as CEO Report, Board Presentations
  • Support in the creation of the three year plan
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to produce ad-hoc reporting
