Position Summary:

The Coordinator of Early College and Dual Enrollment Programs is responsible for the daily administrative operations and communications with our early college and dual enrollment partners and students. The Coordinator of Early College and Dual Enrollment Programs will be committed to extraordinary customer service for all prospective students, staff, and faculty at BSU and our partner schools. The coordinator should be an equity-minded individual who demonstrate a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse identities and life stages of our community members.

The Coordinator of Early College and Dual Enrollment will be responsible for assisting high school students with completing the proper application, processing applications, ensuring students receive BSU credentials, follow up with partner school liaisons, third party partners, students, and staff to ensure students have access to technology and other academic resources necessary for success. This person will work with the Registrar and partner school liaison to ensure students are registered for appropriate classes, work with faculty on technology and access issues. Duties will also include quality control and error resolution of applications, recruitment activities and events, and enrollment events both on and off site. This position will also be responsible for student tracking and data collection, and grant development. They will also assist in the development and coordination of the course schedules for our partners schools.

As a member of the College of Continuing Studies Team, the Coordinator of Early College and Dual Enrollment Programs will assist in office coverage, including our reception desk, phones, and general email accounts on an as needed basis.

This is an exempt, APA unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.

Essential Duties:

1. Act as liaison with partner schools to assess early college and dual enrollment program and student needs. Maintain regular communication with the appropriate administrative teams at partner schools. Ensure that early college and dual enrollment programs embody the BSU principals of equity and inclusion.

2. Assist the dean and director of CCS admission with strategic planning for early college and dual enrollment programming.

3. Assist the dean, scheduling team, and CCS department chairs with coordinating early college and dual enrollment course offerings.

4. Track early college and dual enrollment data including student progress and success.

5. Assists in the developments of early college and dual enrollments grants

6. Coordinate third-party partner services for students.

7. Act as student support coordinator for early college and dual enrollment students.

8. Act as early college and dual enrollments liaison with university service offices.

9. Coordinate and assist with processing of early college and dual enrollment admissions.

10. Coordinate and assist with processing of early college and dual enrollment registration.

11. Coordinate dual enrollment and early college communications and events with undergraduate admissions office.

12. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Commitment to customer service excellence/support to enhance an environment of equity, diversity and inclusion

• Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Ability to learn or experience working with higher education or secondary education programing.

• A dedication to equity and inclusion in education.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, organization skills and attention to detail are required, as is flexibility. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.

• Fluency in more than one language (Spanish or Portuguese are a plus).

• Experience working with early college or dual enrollments programs.

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000
