Full-Time Staff Accountant – Receivables

Job Description

The Staff Accountant reports to the Director of Financial Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, member invoicing, maintain finance inboxes, and other special projects as assigned by management as they relate to accounts receivable.  Paying keen attention to detail to maintain financial data is imperative.

 

Job responsibilities (include but not limited to):

·       Maintain all bank account deposits and properly transfer intercompany payments.

·       Research and reconcile all receivable discrepancies.

·       Responsible for customer/member related QuickBooks data integrity and proper entry and allocation of invoices, credit memos, and debit notes.

·       Maintain member invoicing portals and IAB/TL Finance inboxes.

·       Aid in external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing customer/member backup information for auditors.

·       Maintain relevant receivables balance sheet schedules.

·       Vet financial information by conducting periodic reconciliations.

·       Protect organization’s confidential information

·       Seek out and participate in educational opportunities to maintain best in class job knowledge

·       Ensure Financial Controls policy is followed.

·       Ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

  • Technical or Accounting degree
  • 3-5 years relevant experience

 

Skills:

  • SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, PayPal, Stripe
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented self-starter
  • Strategic Thinker
