What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in analytics field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Mathematics (or equivalent quantitative field).

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant analytics/modeling experience. Previous experience in credit card risk fields is preferred. Knowledge and experience developing pattern recognition and modeling techniques, or data mining experience is a plus. Of which at least 2 years of experience in anti-fraud technology in retail and commercial banking
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and its impact in both operational and financial areas
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk principles and procedures
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Amazon Redshift.
• Strong project Management Skills — well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across cross-functional groups
• Evidence of leadership, initiative, productivity, and teamwork



• Experience in the financial industry or relevant industry

• Working familiarity with cloud computing environments.

– MS or PhD degree


Impact You’ll Make:

• The individual will be responsible for end-to-end management of complex modeling and analytic projects, including designing, developing, implementing, and validating statistical models and segmentation strategies for Bank’s credit card transactional risk and Fraud risk management. The role is a mix of project management, internal client consulting, and hands-on model development and data analysis, including data extraction, sampling, and statistical modeling. Since the role resides within the Fraud Risk Management organization, there is significant exposure to Credit card transactional risk / Fraud Risk related projects and initiatives within top 25 banks.
• Develop insights and data visualizations to solve complex problems and communicate ideas to internal stakeholders.
• Extract and analyze data, investigate data integrity, generate metrics and perform ad hoc analysis.
• Partner with data engineers to validate & deploy solutions in an efficient, sustainable & usable manner
• Support MCI client management function servicing the clients in pre-sales analytics, solution business justification and deployment
• Act as a consultant between Argus anti-fraud & risk product team and our clients and provide professional client support.
• Own the business case process, analysis, and investigative technique development
• Utilize current anti-fraud and risk solutions data to support client solution trials, proofs of concept, and value analysis.
• Provide recommendations for future state best practices operationalizing TU solutions.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Argus anti-fraud and risk solutions and services.
• Provide support in the construction of SOWs and contracts.
