Specialist – Risk & Compliance Business Strategy

This role will be supporting the Planning and Performance team within the Risk and Compliance Architecture organization. The team works closely with the Risk & Compliance Architecture leadership team to solve problems and drive high priority projects.

The team provides exceptional developmental opportunities for high potential candidates who have a consulting mindset and can execute effectively.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leaders and their teams to drive high-value analyses; facilitate effective decision-making by proactively gathering and prioritizing information and relevant decision-making criteria.
Plan, facilitate and prepare executive-level presentations for internal and external stakeholders including the board, regulators, and other senior leadership.
Work closely with senior leadership to analyze and identify opportunities for process improvement across the organization, including the effectiveness of internal processes; help to define new operational strategies.
Oversee operations (e.g. communications, financials, town halls) and an array of administrative tasks (e.g. planning and coordinating meetings).
Build and develop relationships with employees across the department for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness to existing operations; manage inquiries and collaborate to develop action plans to address them.
Contribute to or lead high-priority R&C activities or special projects, as identified.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.
4 – 6 years of total work experience preferred; 1 to 3 years of related experience; experience in management consulting or financial services preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and efficient.
Ability to synthesize complex information to derive and communicate actionable insights.
Superb writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate concepts and create well-structured messages.
Ability to manage aggressive and competing priorities to achieve successful execution.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Self-starter and highly motivated, with entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, consensus building, negotiating, and executing enterprise-wide risk programs.
Excellent judgement and utmost integrity and objectivity, with demonstrated commitment to upholding high standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
